The Business Club, Pavilion Membership and “Best Seat In the House” packages.

THE BUSINESS CLUB at Glamorgan Cricket’s new Stadium is a 21st century concept available for the first time in the world of cricket. It is designed for those who wish to watch domestic and international cricket in the best facilities available in the UK as well as enjoying the opportunity to network with others from the South Wales business community.

Located on the first floor of the new Pavilion, the Business Club boasts its own lounge bar and high quality restaurant. For a modest monthly amount, members of the Business Club are able to guarantee their chosen seat, at no extra cost, for all sporting events held at the stadium including the NatWest One-Day International between England and South Africa in September 2008 and the eagerly anticipated npower Ashes Test match in the summer of 2009.

The Business Club will be the last word in comfort and quality. Customers will receive the individual attention expected of a 5 star facility. Seats on the dedicated viewing terrace are allocated individually to clients throughout the period of Business Club membership. They provide an uninterrupted, panoramic view of the action on the field.

Flexibility is a key concept of the Business Club. Membership cards are fully transferable and catering can be tailored to suit individual requirements. Whether choosing a hot fork buffet at a Twenty20 match or a five course gourmet lunch at a Test Match, clients will enjoy catering and service of the highest standard.

Members will be offered a choice of restaurants and menu prices for international days. These will range from full hospitality in the Business Club restaurant to buffet style catering in one of the other restaurants.

Such has been the interest in the Business Club to date, fewer than 400 seats remain.

Premier Membership has been renamed as PAVILION MEMBERSHIP. It is designed to provide comfortable and exclusive facilities for those whose primary interest is attending Glamorgan Cricket matches. Facilities are centred around the Pavilion lounge which is located on the second floor of the new Pavilion. Here you will be able to enjoy a drink and a meal in well appointed and luxurious surroundings. The cricket may be viewed from the Pavilion lounge or from the exclusive rooftop viewing terrace or from the wide padded seats on that part of the Pavilion terrace which is reserved, exclusively, for Pavilion Members.

Spaces are limited to 675 members with current long term Premier Members automatically becoming Pavilion Members. New Pavilion Members will also become shareholders and gain the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Pavilion Members will have the choice of joining annually or for a 5-year period. There is also the right for each Pavilion Member to purchase tickets for One-Day Internationals and for at least one day of Test Matches.

Currently we have fewer than 250 Pavilion Memberships available.

“BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE” is another new concept at Glamorgan Cricket. It is designed for those whose primary focus is watching cricket from their ideal position and who do not wish to use the facilities of the Business Club. Glamorgan Cricket will be releasing 500 seats only for this scheme. Quite simply, customers choose their ideal seat in the ground and secure that seat (for 5 or 10 years) for all matches at The SWALEC Stadium, including One-Day Internationals and Test Matches at no extra cost.

This scheme is ideal for those who wish to secure a seat in the new stadium for the next 5 or 10 years at an extremely reasonable one-time payment. We will be happy to assist those who wish to be seated next to friends or colleagues.

The number of places available under each of the above schemes is restricted, deliberately, to ensure that we are able to deliver very high standards of personal customer service.

* Business Club Members have full use of the Business Club lounge and restaurant on domestic match days and are able to book hospitality for international matches. Pavilion Members have exclusive access to the Pavilion suite on domestic match days.

** Premier Members who transfer to Business Club or “Best Seat in the House” retain their shareholding and voting rights for an additional payment of £5 a year.
