“The award-winning Glamorgan community programme aims to use the values that are central to cricket as a way of increasing educational performance, promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging more people from more diverse communities to play and follow cricket.”

All Stars Cricket

Summer 2017 proved to be a massive hit for families up and down Wales with All Stars Cricket, a brand-new initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.

The programme was delivered across Wales (and England!) at nearly 100 clubs in Wales and 2,300 individual sign ups, all fully accredited All Stars Cricket centres.

We want all clubs across ALL of Wales to have their own centre so that one is local to any parent in Wales. It is a fun and active way to develop children’s skills and through our eight-week programme, children will learn lots – as well as make new friends – in a safe and inclusive environment.

For Clubs

If you haven't run an All Stars centre before, this is definitely a successful way of rejuvenating your junior section. Please check out the list of films below which offer testimonial interviews from clubs in every corner of Wales from some that are rebuilding, some that are just getting going again after periods of no junior cricket, and those recruiting volunteers and showing how women can drive and be influential in this hugely successful first step into cricket.
