Head coach Matt Maynard has named a 13-man squad for Glamorgan’s LV= County Championship match against Kent in Canterbury tomorrow (Thursday).
There are two changes to the squad that picked up 11 points during the draw with Yorkshire as wicket-keeper batsman Tom Cullen returns for Callum Taylor and James Weighell replaces the injured Lukas Carey.
After six rounds gone in the competition, Glamorgan sit in third place in Group Three with three draws, two losses and a win to their name.
The victory came against Kent at Sophia Gardens, with the Welsh county wrapping up a comprehensive 10-wicket win inside two days against the bottom of the table side.
View from the camp: Matt Maynard
“Sam Billings will be back to captain for them, so it’ll be a slight change to their side from when we played them in Cardiff.
“He’ll bring positivity and fresh energy into their camp and they have some batsmen who have found some form recently.
“Despite their position in the table they are a very strong side with match winners throughout the team.
“It’s going to be a lot tougher in their own back yard, there’s no doubt about that. We need to go in and try to do our basics as well as we can.”
Head-To-Head – Kent v Glamorgan
Glamorgan will be hoping that the weather is set fair as they visit the Garden of England in search of a rare home and away double over Kent.
The Welsh county have only achieved the feat on four previous occasions with the most recent being in 2011 when they won at Sophia Gardens by an innings and 8 runs before being victorious at Canterbury by eight wickets with Stewart Walters scoring 147 in the day-night contest which also saw a trial being undertaken by the ECB with pink and orange balls.

Kent have yet to confirm their squad, but this article will be updated when they do so.
In the visitors last game, Jack Leaning completed the sixth hundred of his first-class career as Sussex could not prevent Kent from securing a comfortable LV= Insurance County Championship draw on a rain-shortened final day at Hove.
Leaning, the 27-year-old former Yorkshire batter, finished unbeaten on 127 when fists were bumped at 16:50 and he was joined in a 172-run fourth wicket stand by Ollie Robinson, who scored 85 in Kent’s second innings’ 387 for four declared.
