Head coach Matt Maynard has named a 13-man squad for the trip to Taunton to take on local rivals Somerset in a re-match of The Big Match, on Saturday, 24th August.
Nick Selman receives his first Vitality Blast call-up of the season, while Roman Walker and Prem Sisodiya could make their senior T20 debuts in professional cricket.
Owen Morgan also receives a recall, with a number of players who won the 2nd XI T20 Trophy included in the squad.
Roman Walker, the tall seamer from North Wales, made his professional debut in a thrilling televised affair against Monday's opponents Sussex Sharks, but for now Walker is keen to learn and secure a place on the team sheet.
"I'm really excited to make the squad and hopefully I’ll make a debut and get my name on the team sheet," said Walker.
"Playing that T20 against the Netherlands was a really good experience to be part of. I bowled two overs at the death, I did alright but I learned a lot about margins for error and hopefully I can take what I've learned into the upcoming games."
Walker was part of the side that won the 2nd XI Trophy and held his nerve in the final over of the tournament, defending eight to give Glamorgan the title.
"I thought they were favourites going into the last over, with a man in on 51, so the odds were probably against us. These days especially, you'd back the batting side to get the eight they need.
"It was a little bit of luck getting Holland out and a little bit of nailing my skills - I nailed one or two balls and that put the pressure back on them. I was quite nervous.
The 2nd XI at the moment has a really good buzz and we’re a tight knit group - it doesn’t matter who you are playing for, there’s a buzz around all the groups.
I don't bring a lot to the dressing room but Prem [Sisodiya] is one heck of a character!"
Walker faced Sussex in his debut, and while he hasn't faced Somerset at this level before he now feels he has a better grasp of the skills required to succeed in the professional game.
"It’s a different format [50 over vs 20 over] and teams will have different tactics. The margins for error were bigger as they might have been looking to bat for longer periods of time, but these are guys who have been playing for years and will whack a bad ball. In T20 cricket you've got almost no margin for error.
"I’m not aiming for any wicket in particular - It would just be nice to take a wicket at all!"
