Head coach Matt Maynard has named a 14-man squad for the trip to Taunton to face Somerset in the Vitality Blast on Tuesday night, with Nick Selman replacing the injured Graham Wagg in an otherwise unchanged squad.

Prem Sisodiya has been one of Glamorgan's top performers so far in the tournament, conceding just 4.37 runs per over, and has made an immediate impact at the start of the innings for the Welsh county.

"It's been nice to get a few games in and do quite well on a personal level.

"I was always hoping to be close to the starting line-up after last year, playing in the 2nd XI and playing the last few games of last season."

Bowling the opening over and regularly in the Powerplay, Sisodiya acknowledges that he relishes the challenge of delivering against the opposition's dangerous batsman at a time when the odds are stacked against the bowler.

"I enjoy the challenge and pressure of bowling in the Powerplay. It suits the way I bowl, and I love having that pressure on me.

"Opening in the Powerplay is all about backing your skills, knowing what fielders to have where and where to bowl and it's suits my style of bowling."
