Glamorgan County Cricket Club is delighted to confirm all members of the Club will have access to a pitch-facing lounge for Glamorgan home games at The SSE SWALEC next season and there will be an early bird discount price for supporters who purchase by 30th November 2015.
The Premier Lounge, which offers a pitch-facing view, was renovated ahead of the 2015 season to provide a wider view of the pitch and 2016 members will be able to enjoy catering and refreshments from this facility, whilst also being able to access the ground floor bar area they have become accustomed to using since the re-development of the Stadium.
Membership packages for 2016 have been refined, with Premier and Full Adult Membership categories combined, so that all members will benefit from the following features:
- Early bird pricing of £142 for season 2016, rising to £182 after 30th November 2015
- Access to all regular season matches in the LV= County Championship, Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest T20 Blast
- Festival fixtures at Swansea and Colwyn Bay
- Regular player forums during LV= County Championship matches
- Access to the pitch-facing Premier Lounge for all members
- Complimentary official Glamorgan magazine, FrontFoot
- Priority access to purchase international tickets in advance and in exclusive reserved seating areas
- Discount on food and beverages in members areas as well as a discount on Christmas lunches and special
offers from Club Partners
Since I returned to the Club it has been a recurring request from members to be able to have access to a lounge where they watch the game whilst enjoying refreshments or when the weather isn't so good, said Hugh Morris, Glamorgan chief executive.
Glamorgan members are vitally important to the Club as they help to keep the Club a vibrant place and the proceeds from membership allow us to invest in strengthening our professional team, our development programme, as well as our venue and community schemes.
During this last season we have introduced a number of new initiatives, some of them very simple things, but which all add up to help make membership of the Club as enjoyable as it can possibly be.
We are keen for Glamorgan membership to continue to be good value for money and with this new benefit of a pitch-facing lounge we hope it's even better value than ever.
With the early bird discount Glamorgan Membership is priced £142 for adults and will be available to purchase online or by phone from Wednesday 16th September.
Membership packs are being despatched to 2015 members and these packs should arrive in the next few days. Adult couple, student and Young Buds membership will also be on sale, along with T20 Season Tickets and Country Membership which is available to supporters living outside of CF or NP postcode areas.
