They say that London buses come in two's, but in the Welsh county's most recent LV=County Championship match against Kent at Canterbury, it was a case of a pair of maiden first-class hundreds for Glamorgan being recorded.
Before the match at the St. Lawrence ground, Chris Cooke had posted a one-day hundred for Glamorgan having made 137* against Somerset at Taunton in 2012, whilst Graham Wagg had a hundred to his name from his Derbyshire days having scored 108 at Northampton in 2008. But the encounter against Kent saw each man post a career-best first-class score - and their maiden first-class hundreds for Glamorgan - as Chris made 171 in the first innings and then Graham struck an unbeaten 116 in the second innings as the Welsh county drew the game.
This was the fourth time that a pair of Glamorgan batsmen had each scored maiden first-class hundreds for the Welsh county during the same match. Back in 1921 at Swansea in the County Championship match against Worcestershire, schoolmasters George Cording and Frank Pinch each achieved the feat during Glamorgan's first innings of the game - something that Mike Powell (200*) and Gary Butcher (101*) emulated in 1997 during Glamorgan's friendly against Oxford University at The Parks.
In 1968 at Hove, Majid Khan scored 101 in Glamorgan's first innings of their contest against Sussex, before wicket-keeper Eifion Jones followed suit with a career-best 146* in the second innings, and all whilst sharing a stand of 230 with his brother Alan for the third wicket.
