Spinner Andrew Salter took 3 important wickets as Glamorgan restricted Derbyshire to 160 all out after rain had hindered play on day 3.
The hosts are currently 0-1 after losing white ball captain Jacques Rudolph to the final ball of the day, needing 212 to secure a vital win over their midlands rivals. Derbyshire were bowled out in just under 45 overs as the match progressed at a rapid pace with the pitch lending itself well to Salter's offspin.
"They always say day 3 is moving day and it definitely has moved on, we’ve got a big day ahead of us tomorrow and fingers crossed the batters can do their job, apply themselves and take us to a win."
"It was nice to have some assistance if you bowled well, if you hit good areas there was a bit of rough there and that kept me in the game. If you bowl well there’s some reward but if you bowl poorly there’s also some opportunity to score."
Play is scheduled to resume at 2pm at The SSE SWALEC.
