It’s the time of year when county batsmen are looking at certain milestones, with various Glamorgan batsmen in sight of the 1,000 runs landmark during first-class cricket in 2016.

The Welsh county have five Championship matches still to play so with a potential of ten further innings, several batsmen are eyeing up the landmark of 1,000 first-class runs as the domestic season draws to a close.

In particular, Will Bragg currently has a first-class tally of 859 runs during the season and seems destined to pass the 1.000 runs threshold whilst young tyro Aneurin Donald has amassed 849 runs and is also well poised to pass the landmark. In the case of the youngster, it would be the first time he has scored in excess of 1,000 first-class runs in a season.
