Will Bragg became the first Glamorgan batsman to reach 1,000 first-class runs for the season on the third day of the Welsh county's final LV=County Championship match of the season against Hampshire at the SWALEC Stadium.
The left-hander went into this game needing 17 runs to reach a thousand runs in a season for the second time in his career, and after being out for a duck in the first innings, an on-drive against Matt Coles duly saw the southpaw to this landmark.
His achievements, on September 25th, also make it the latest in a season that the first Glamorgan batsman has reached 1,000 first-class runs. This record was previously held by the recently-retired Gareth Rees who, on September 20th, 2008 reached this personal landmark.
