Castell Howell and Glamorgan Cricket renew partnership with exciting 'Spot The Lorry' campaign across Wales

Glamorgan County Cricket Club and Castell Howell Foods are thrilled to announce the renewal of their partnership, marking another milestone in their successful collaboration which now spans 13 years. To celebrate this renewed relationship, a newly branded Castell Howell lorry featuring the Glamorgan logo and players will be hitting the roads across Wales.

Ed Rice, Head of Commercial at Glamorgan County Cricket Club said "We are proud to renew our partnership with Castell Howell Foods.  They’re a long-standing partner and their continued support is important to the Club.  This fun campaign is a fantastic way to engage our fans and the wider community, bringing some excitement and joy to the streets of Wales."

As part of the celebration, the two organisations have teamed up to launch an exciting 'Spot the Lorry' competition, inviting the public to participate for a chance to win a Glamorgan Cricket Membership for the 2025 season.

For a chance to win this fantastic prize, simply follow these steps:

  • Spot the branded Castell Howell Foods lorry as it travels around Wales.
  • Take a photo of the lorry.
  • Share the photo on X (Twitter) with the hashtag #SpotTheLorry and tag @GlamCricket and @CastellHowell.

Throughout July, the lorry will visit different locations in Cardiff, and in August, it will travel across Wales. So be sure to keep a lookout!

Terms & conditions for the ‘Spot the Lorry’ competition:

The competition is open to residents aged 13 and over, excluding Glamorgan County Cricket Club and Castell Howell Foods employees, their families, agents, or associated third parties. The competition runs from 00:00 on the 11th of July 2024 to 23:59 on the 31st of August 2024. Entries received outside this period will not be considered. Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry must be a unique photo. The prize is a Glamorgan Cricket Membership for the 2025 season; non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered. The prize does not cover travel expenses. The winner will be chosen by a random within 7 days after the competition ends and will be notified via direct message on X (Twitter). By entering, participants agree to have their entry and photo shared on Glamorgan County Cricket Club and Castell Howell Foods social media channels and websites. All personal data will be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Glamorgan County Cricket Club reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition.
