Sam Billings and Liam Plunkett starred as England beat Pakistan by 14 runs in the first Twenty20 International in Dubai.
Billings and Plunkett were both playing their first competitive games of England's tour of the United Arab Emirates, and made the most of their opportunity as the tourists put in an impressive display.
Billings made a quickfire half-century as England recovered to 160 for five, having been 19 for three early in their innings.
Debutante James Vince and skipper Eoin Morgan laid the ground work with a 76-run stand before Billings' cameo took England to what looked an above-par total.
The pace of Plunkett saw Pakistan crumble to 25 for three in reply, before England's spin pair of Moeen Ali and Stephen Parry turned the screw.
Plunkett finished with 3-31 and fellow seamer Reece Topley mopped up the tail to claim 3-24 as England beat the designated hosts for the fourth game running, having taken the last three ODIs to take the series 3-1.
