England comfortably beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in the first IT20 match at Durham.
The victory was set up superbly with a fantastic effort in the field as England restricted the Blackcaps to just 139/9 from their 20 overs.
Welsh Fire star Glenn Phillips top-scored for New Zealand with 41 before he holed out to Sam Curran off the bowling of Luke Wood who picked up three wickets along with Brydon Carse who made his mark on debut with three wickets of his own.
Dawid Malan (54) and Harry Brook (43*) starred in the run-chase as England wrapped up a seven-wicket win with six overs to spare.
The two sides will meet in Cardiff next week in the first ODI on Friday 8th September. Tickets are still available below.
