Five Reasons to come to The Hundred

The third edition of The Hundred is just two weeks away, as a new look Welsh Fire returns to Sophia Gardens. With fun for all the family, here is what you can look forward to: 

 World-Class Players  

The best players in the world will grace the Welsh turf this summer, as Pakistani superstars Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf will bring their electric pace into the fold. They will join some of England’s finest as Jonny Bairstow returns to Cardiff, and Sophia Dunkley will join the Women’s Welsh Fire squad this year. 

Great entertainment for the whole family 

With The Hundred falling during the summer holidays, why not spend a day with all the family at the cricket? There are plenty of exciting food options in the Food Village, with Vegan and Halal options available. The kids can spend the day playing out on our back lawn - with a number of activities to provide hours of fun, there really is something for all the family! 

Live music from BBC Introducing artists and resident DJs Sam & Danni  

As part of an initiative with The Hundred, the BBC are highlighting local music talent who will be joining DJ Duo Sam and Danni at every fixture.

With the amazing talent on show at The Hundred, you have never been able to get closer to your heroes. Every fixture you will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from all your favourite players at the end of the game.
