Middlesex defeated Glamorgan a month ago at Radlett but, as the list below shows of their recent meeting at Cardiff, the Welsh county have a decent record at their home ground against the Londoners in T20 cricket, including the match last summer at Sophia Gardens when they were victorious by 21 runs thanks to a typically vibrant 75 by Colin Ingram, whilst Timm van der Gugten and Dan Douthwaite shared four wickets between them.

26 June 2010 - Glamorgan won by 7 wickets
3 June 2011 - Glamorgan won by 45 runs (DLS Method)
5 June 2015 - Glamorgan won by 4 runs
18 Aug 2017 - Glamorgan won by 7 wickets
26 July 2019 - Middlesex won by 8 wickets
18 June 2021 - Glamorgan won by 21 runs

Glamorgan’s winning sequence includes the game in June 2011 when they won by 45 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis Method with Alviro Peterson posting 72 before left-armers Graham Wagg and Alex Jones each claimed three wickets as the visitors stuttered in their run chase. The Welsh county’s total of 199-4 in that game eleven years ago still remains their highest-ever against Middlesex in this format of the game. However as far as the standout performances for Glamorgan with bat and ball in T20 contests against Middlesex, each have come in games at Old Deer Park in Richmond, where Jim Allenby posted 105 in the game in 2014, before Ruaidhri Smith took 4/6 in the contest in 2018.
