Ahead of our opening home match of the LV= Insurance County Championship season against Sussex on Thursday (15th April) behind closed doors, the club can confirm its live stream production for the 2021 season.
The live stream will cover all fixtures across the LV= Insurance County Championship, Royal London Cup and Vitality Blast.
The club has installed three further static cameras around the ground to complement the two analyst cameras currently in operation. Score overlays will once again be added to the production, as well as linked commentary to Nick Webb and BBC Wales.
Overall, the stream will have the following features:
– Available and FREE of charge to all Glamorgan supporters
– Streamed via the Glamorgan website and ECB match centre
– Bespoke multi-camera set-up
– Graphic overlays displaying all key information
– Live commentary synced to the action on field
– Replay function
Head of commercial, Huw Warren, said: “Last year, we were able to invest heavily in our live stream due to the generosity of our members, who chose to donate their membership fees in vast numbers.
“This season, we have worked closely with the ECB to build a sustainable new live stream production for 2021, and beyond. The live stream will be a constantly developing process, and along with the ECB, we will look at ways we can enhance the service for our fantastic supporters as the season progresses.
“We want to work closely with our members and supporters on our live stream production and after our match against Sussex will send a survey asking for your views on how we can continue to improve our service.
“Whilst it’s certainly not going to be the same without supporters at the ground for our fixture against Sussex, I hope that following the match via the live stream will partly make up for that disappointment.”
How to follow
Glamorgan members and supporters will be able to watch the action via the club’s live stream, which will include replays and commentary from BBC Wales.
All action will be live streamed through the match centre on Glamorgancricket.com, and through the ECB’s match centre.
The club will also continue to produce live highlight clips that are posted on the match centre and social media platforms (@GlamCricket) as the action unfolds.
