Glamorgan selectors have announced the squad for the highly anticipated Metro Bank One Day Cup Final on Sunday.

The selectors have decided to select the same squad that got the Club to the Final in a sensational run-in to the occasion at Trent Bridge.

A number of young players have impressed the fans and coaching staff alike during the One Day Cup campaign and they will don the Club’s kit in the quest for silverware in Nottingham where they will face Somerset who also topped their group.

Having won eight out of nine matches in the competition, Glamorgan have shone in all departments across the campaign, with Dan Douthwaite often turning games by himself.

Consistent batting performances and a ruthless bowling attack helped Glamorgan reach the Final after beating Warwickshire in the home Semi-final, booking their ticket to try and repeat the 2021 success which saw them bring the trophy back to Cardiff.

Chris Cooke and Mason Crane will be travelling with the squad as non-playing reserves.

The squad is as follows:

05/ Kiran Carlson (Captain)
16/ Sam Northeast (Vice-captain)
13/ Tom Bevan
88/ Dan Douthwaite
11/ Andy Gorvin
06/ Henry Hurle
41/ Colin Ingram
08/ Ben Kellaway
35/ Jamie McIlroy
18/ Ben Morris
07/ Billy Root
55/ Asa Tribe
28/ Will Smale
64/ Timm van der Gugten
