Glamorgan are delighted to announce that we welcomed more people than ever before to Sophia Gardens, breaking our group stage attendance record across the seven games in the Vitality Blast.

The previous largest attendance was in 2019 but the Welsh County have now set a new benchmark for Blast which is also a third higher than the attendances recorded last year, in 2022.

Head of Commercial, Ed Rice “It is amazing to have broken our record overall attendance across the Vitality Blast this year.”

“It is a testament to the hard work that our team has done off the pitch, and the exciting brand of cricket the team played on the field.

“Thank you to all of our supporters who turned out in force and created an electric atmosphere at Sophia Gardens.  We want our fantastic stadium to be a place where everyone feels welcome and looks forward to visiting.  I’m delighted that more and more people are coming along to experience what we have to offer.

“Our aim is to have more people enjoy our game, and this sets the perfect platform from which the club can continue to grow.  We can’t wait to do it all again next season.”
