Ruaidhri Smith, Nick Selman and Owen Morgan have all been included in a 14-man Glamorgan squad to face Surrey in the Royal London One-Day Cup at The Kia Oval today (2pm start).
Glamorgan's chances of qualification to the quarter-finals are now slim after recent defeats to Essex Eagles and Hampshire, but Surrey can get closer to securing a place in the last eight with victory this afternoon.
Head Coach Robert Croft admitted the match might be an ideal time to blood some younger players, with the rigorous nature of the playing schedule. Glamorgan have played five matches in the last week.
"There'll be an opportunity maybe for a couple of young players to get a go in this competition, we do see the chance now it's near impossible to get through," said Croft.
Surrey have announced a strong squad for the match, with England ODI opener Jason Roy named alongside Lions stars Tom Curran, Ben Foakes and Mark Footitt. Explosive Australian batsman Aaron Finch is also named in the 15-man home squad.
