Glamorgan's Second Eleven Championship match against Yorkshire at the SWALEC Stadium ended in a draw as the Welsh county, chasing a target of 242 in 65 overs, ended on 185/8.
On the opening day of the three-day contest, Yorkshire were dismissed for 211 with Will Owen taking 3/32 whilst Andy Miller and Andrew Salter each took a pair of wickets apiece.

Today, Glamorgan replied with 210 with Owen top-scoring with 60 after his side had slipped to 123/7. The North Walian clubbed 9 fours and a six in his 49-ball innings which lifted Glamorgan to within one run of the visitor's total.

John Glover then claimed three early wickets before Owen took a fourth as Yorkshire nosedived to 34/4, but their fifth wicket pair mounted a rearguard action in the final hour to take Yorkshire to 103/4 at the close of play.

Yorkshire batted until lunch with Owen and Miller claiming further wickets before Yorkshire declared on 240/6. Glamorgan made a steady start with captain Ben Wright posting an assertive 67 besides sharing decent stands with Jeremy Lawlor and David Lloyd which laid the foundation for a post-tea acceleration.

But Wright was out with the total on 168/6 and after the loss of two further wickets, Glamorgan put up the shutters with Huw Waters and Andy Miller batting out the last eight overs as the game ended in a draw.
