Glamorgan County Cricket Club is thrilled to announce that several of its promising young talents have been selected to participate in the esteemed Bunbury Festival, an event renowned for showcasing the best youth cricket talent in the country.
The Bunbury Festival, which has a storied history of nurturing future cricketing stars, will take place this year at the illustrious grounds at the National Cricket Centre at Loughborough University from August 4th to August 9th. The festival has been a launching pad for many of England's cricket legends, including Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Jos Buttler.
Representing Glamorgan at the festival are:
- Jacob Blades (St Fagans Cricket Club)
- Thomas Edwards (Pontardulais Cricket Club)
- Rhys Pollitt (St Fagans Cricket Club)
- Harry Wallace (Newport Cricket Club)
These selections reflect the strength and depth of Glamorgan's youth development program, which continues to produce players capable of competing at the highest levels.
The club’s Head of Talent Development, Richard Almond expressed his pride in the players' achievements.
