Glamorgan Seconds return to action

After recording back to back wins this week, Glamorgan 2nds return to action against Hampshire at Basingstoke in a Championship clash on Monday, followed by a Trophy game on Thursday against the same opposition at the Ageas Bowl.

Ollie Pringle took four wickets at Lutterworth against Leicestershire to restrict the hosts. The match saw Ruaidhri Smith return to bowling following this return to injury, but it was Selman who hit a century and Owen Morgan with 99 that helped Glamorgan into a winning position, before Anuerin Donald scored an unbeaten 35 to see the off the game.

Pringle was again to the fore in the Second XI Trophy match against Unicorns at Falklands picking up another 3 wickets as Unicorns were dismissed for 185 in the 35th over. The wickets were shared around all the bowlers with notable mentions for Morgan (2-16) and Sam Pearce (2-35) and single numbers in the wickets column  for Smith, Bull and Murphy too. Morgan again opening backed up his 99 against Leicestershire with 56 before Cameron Herring partnered with Griffiths and Smith to get Glamorgan over the line with almost 6 overs to spare.
