Glamorgan are delighted to announce the signing of New Zealand batter Cam Fletcher as short-term cover for Colin Ingram for the next week.
The 30-year-old batter is currently playing cricket in Yorkshire and will join up with the squad for tonight’s Vitality Blast fixture at The Oval against Surrey.
The Auckland native, who plies his trade at Canterbury, has a great record in T20 cricket, averaging 35 with the bat in his 92 games, with a healthy strike rate of 131.
In February 2022, Fletcher was named in New Zealand's Test squad for their series against South Africa. In May 2022, Fletcher was named in New Zealand's Test squad for their tour of England.
He has recently been in the New Zealand A squad against Australia and will bolster the squad for the upcoming fixtures.
