Head Coach Matt Maynard has named an unchanged 13-man squad for Glamorgan’s final Royal London One-Day Cup match of the season against Sussex at Hove tomorrow.
With just one game left to go for Glamorgan in the competition, the Welsh county currently sit in sixth place in the South Group with two wins and four defeats, as well as a no result from their seven matches.
Despite not being able to qualify for the latter stages of the competition, batsman Charlie Hemphrey is happy with the progress the team is making on the pitch after a slow start to the campaign, as well as his own form after he struck a List A career-best in Glamorgan's previous match against Middlesex.
"It was nice to contribute but I never thought I was playing badly," said Hemphrey. "I just needed to keep doing what I was doing and I thought the runs would come.
"I didn't get going at the top of the order but played nicely in my innings against Surrey but unfortunately didn't kick on.
"We had a slow start to the competition and didn't quite find our feet against some good sides, but it's nice we've managed to go through the games on an upward curve.
"There were lots of positives from the Middlesex game, as well as from the wins against Surrey and Gloucestershire and take those into Sussex.
"We've had some great performances this year from Cookie and Lloydy and Marchant and Lukas with the ball so there's lots of positives to move forward and I don't think we're too far off going on a good run.
"The boys have been great and the set up is great too. Everything is in place for the boys to get the best out of themselves so it's up to us as players to get the wins."
Glamorgan squad to face Sussex: Cooke+* Carey, Lloyd, Root, Douthwaite, de Lange, vd Gugten, Walker, Lawlor, Labuschagne, Hemphrey, Brown and Wagg.
