Glamorgan Cricket is delighted to unveil its brand-new playing strips for the 2022 season.

Designed by the Club’s official kit supplier, Masuri, the Vitality Blast, Royal London Cup and LV=County Championship shirts are all available to buy now at the Sophia Gardens shop or online HERE.

The new Vitality Blast top is predominantly dark blue and has been inspired by the famous Glamorgan daffodil, which encompasses the shirt with a contemporary gradient pattern overlay.

The famous ‘Daff’ sits on the heart of the shirt, with the MiPost’s brand taking centre stage.

Appearing on both collars is the logo of Welsh outdoor media specialists, Route, with SA Group featuring on the back and Bendac Group on the right sleeve, where it also appears on the LV= County Championship and Royal London Cup tops.

The Royal London Cup shirt has been produced in our traditional colour scheme, with the front of the top yellow, with decreasing chevron designs for a standout, dynamic shirt design.

Sitting above the Glamorgan logo are four stars signifying the four one-day trophies the Club has won in its history and as current holders of the Royal London Cup.

Long-standing partner MiPost once again sponsor the front of the shirt, while the logo of ‘Official Car Partner,’ Mon Motors sits on both collars, with SA Group on the back.

The SA Group brand also sits on the front of the LV= County Championship shirt, with wealth management firm, Gittins & Co. appearing on the back, while Cardiff-based air conditioning specialists, Cygnus have sponsored both collars this season.

Meanwhile, VIP Ticket & Hospitality Package provider, Seat Unique have sponsored the caps on both white-ball kits this season.

Head of Commercial, Huw Warren, said: “We’ve worked closely with the Masuri team throughout the design process on all three kits and we’re delighted to have developed exciting new shirts we’re sure our supporters will love.

“Both our one-day kits are extremely vibrant and modern and the feedback from our players and coaches has been hugely positive.

“We’re always looking to add quirky innovations to our kits to make them stand out, which Masuri are always open to, and can be seen in our Royal London Cup shirt with the addition of the stars to signify us as the current reigning champions and four-time winners of the trophy.”

Sam Miller, CEO The Masuri Group, said: "Masuri and Glamorgan are both passionate about safety on the cricket pitch, as well as making the game of cricket as exciting as possible, because of these shared values the entire Masuri team love working with Glamorgan.

"Glamorgan approach every game with pride and passion, and we hope that we can support that passion by providing the Players and Coaching staff with kit that they love to wear, whether that be the safest helmets on the market or the most comfortable playing kit."
