Glamorgan began their 2016 campaign with a comprehensive seven-wicket victory on Good Friday over Gloucestershire at The SSE SWALEC - the first of three pre-season friendlies.
Whilst the lanes and fields around Sophia Gardens and in the Castle Grounds saw many of the competitors in the World Half Marathon go through their paces ahead of Saturday's race, the match at The SSE SWALEC on Good Friday was more of a stroll in the park for the Welsh county as they eased to victory with 24.2 overs remaining.
Glamorgan meet Cardiff MCCU in a 50-overs friendly at The SSE SWALEC on Tuesday, March 29th starting at 11am, before welcoming Somerset for a three-day friendly at the same ground, starting on Thursday, March 31st. Play is scheduled to commence on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 11am, with 90 overs being bowled on each day.
