As the list below shows of their recent meeting at Cardiff, the Welsh county have an excellent record at their home ground against the Londoners in T20 cricket, including the match last summer at Sophia Gardens when they were victorious by 8 wickets.

3 June 2011 - Glamorgan won by 45 runs (DLS Method).
5 June 2015 - Glamorgan won by 4 runs.
18 Aug 2017 - Glamorgan won by 7 wickets.
26 July 2019 - Middlesex won by 8 wickets.
18 June 2021 - Glamorgan won by 21 runs.
21 June 2022 - Glamorgan won by 8 wickets.

The match at Cardiff between the two sides last summer saw a memorable display of controlled strokeplay, as David Lloyd (67) and Sam Northeast (89) gave a masterclass of batting in the short format in front of a crowd which included almost 2,900 schoolchildren and college students as Glamorgan completed a crushing eight-wicket victory with 34 balls to spare .

During 48 minutes of high-octane batting, both men compiled 23-ball fifties as they shared an opening stand of 150 in 11.5 overs with their total of 84-0 during the opening six overs also being a Club record for the powerplays, with both batters hitting boundaries seemingly at will as the visiting attack leaked runs like a rusty bucket.

The match at Sophia Gardens in 2021 also saw a Glamorgan victory by 21 runs thanks to a typically vibrant 75 by Colin Ingram, whilst Timm van der Gugten and Dan Douthwaite shared four wickets between them.
