After last week's disappointing defeat, Glamorgan will be looking to revenge the 5 wicket defeat to the Essex Eagles by bouncing straight back to victory with a win over Hampshire.
Craig Meschede is confident that the preparations for the game have gone well this week and the side will return to winning ways tonight.
Preparations have gone well, we all know Hampshire are a strong opposition in this format and have done really well in the past but the boys mind-sets are switched on
Hampshire's squad oozes with talent and Meschede has identified the early dismissals of Vince and Carberry as being the key to Glamorgan's hopes of winning the game.
There top 4, James Vince, Michael Carberry, there is always danger men in this type of format. They are both really good cricketers and they have played at the highest level so they are the two key men for me, so if we can get them early the pressure will really be on.
Craig Meschede arrived on loan from Somerset this summer looking for consistent game time and when asked about the prospect of facing his parent club he was keen to point out that Glamorgan are his club this summer but it will be weird facing Somerset on June 13th.
It will be a bit weird at the start but saying that I'm here to play for Glamorgan this season so im going to play like it's my home team
Craig made his maiden County Championship century against Surrey earlier on this season and on the whole is really enjoying his experience so far with Glamorgan.
I'm really enjoying it here and I can see my cricket excelling nicely which is the way I pictured it to go
