Red-ball captain Michael Hogan has sustained a hamstring strain and is expected to be out of action for 2-3 weeks.
Hogan suffered the injury while playing for Glamorgan against Somerset at Taunton in the Royal London-One Day Cup on Sunday.
He left the field at the end of the Somerset innings and required a runner when batting during the chase.
Mark Rausa, Head Physiotherapist at Glamorgan Cricket, said, “Michael picked up the injury while bowling on Sunday. It’s not a serious injury but we will need to manage it and he will need to undergo a period of rehabilitation.
“Hopefully he will be back in training shortly and return before the end of the Royal London One-Day Cup competition.”
Fast bowler Marchant de Lange suffered a hamstring injury during Glamorgan's match with Middlsex and is having a scan today to determine its severity.
