Glamorgan Head Coach Toby Radford will name Australian talisman Michael Hogan in his team to face Derbyshire in the LV= County Championship from Sunday.
Hogan sat out the Club's draws against Leicestershire and Surrey but is now fit and firing after building his fitness and bowling extended spells in training.
We're delighted that Michael is back because he's been the spearhead of our attack for the past two years and he has a proven record, said Radford.
Adding his prowess to what we've already seen from Andy Carter, Graham Wagg and Craig Meschede gives us as strong seam attack and we're keen to capitalise on that.
We've scored runs quite freely and lots of our batsmen have had good scores so there will be a real focus on trying to take 20 wickets.
Derbyshire beat Gloucestershire last time out with left-arm quick Mark Footitt catching the eye with ferocious spells while New Zealander Martin Guptill scored rapid runs in both innings.
Tony Palladino and Mark Footitt provide an interesting challenge and the left-arm right-arm combination is tougher for batsmen to face, said Radford.
Martin Guptill is clearly in good form too but we're going into the game looking for a positive result on what we expect to be a good pitch.
Michael Hogan's inclusion will prompt changes to the side with Radford also naming spinner Andrew Salter in a 13-man squad that also includes the eleven players that featured against Surrey.
Sunday's play at the SWALEC Stadium is scheduled to begin at 11am.
