Speaking before his first training session as a Glamorgan player, Marnus Labuschagne was determined to get stuck in to the challenge of batting in tough English conditions.
The overseas signing from Australia is eager to get stuck in to his training, and admitted that although he hasn't got any experience in England he's keen to learn and get going and help Glamorgan win games.
“I'm very happy to sign with Glamorgan. I spoke to Usman (Khawaja), Charlie (Hemphrey), and other people with so many good things to say about the county and the organisation. I'm excited to start training, get ready for the game tomorrow and get things moving," said Labuschagne.
"The conditions will be tough and it will be an exciting challenge to go out there and put runs on the board. It’s about showing intent and making sure you are putting bowlers under pressure. The Gabba at the back end of the year with a Duke ball was a tough place to play, so I think that’s put me in good stead.”
