Glamorgan salvaged a draw after scoring their second-highest total (737) of all time in the LV= County Championship against Sussex.
Captain Kiran Carlson, who was deputising for the injured David Lloyd, top-scored with a career-best 192. While Marnus Labuschagne and Michael Neser both also scored centuries.
The Welsh county began their innings 358 runs in arrears but their spirited efforts with the bat earned a draw at Hove.
"We managed to get a draw which is a good result for us after day one," said Carlson.
"It was nice (to score a career-best). Obviously left a few out there in the end but it was good to spend some time in the middle and get another hundred under my belt.
"I think I'm batting really nicely. I'm happy with my batting and happy with the way I'm going. Hopefully, it continues."
