England will have to bat exceptionally well to save the second Test in Vizag after India extended their lead over the tourists to 298 at stumps on day 3.

Despite 70 from Ben Stokes and a half century from Jonny Bairstow, England were dismissed for 255 in their first innings to trail the tourists by exactly 200.

With the wicket deteriorating Virat Kohli opted to bat again and took command of the second innings, adding 55 before the close.
