It has been a really good day for us with the ball - Harrison

Assistant coach David Harrison hailed Glamorgan's bowlers on day three of their LV= County Championship match against Durham as the Welsh county dismissed the home side for 244.

The Welsh county were two bowlers down with Timm van der Gugten and David Lloyd unable to take the field, however Australian overseas pair Michael Neser (4/57) and Marnus Labuschagne (3/35) took seven wickets between them which meant Glamorgan would need to chase 191 to win. At the close, the Welsh county reached 65/3 with Marnus Labuschagne falling to the last ball of the day.

"It would be nice to have Marnus there in the morning but it's been a really good day for us with the ball, the way Hogan and Neser bowled was outstanding and the job the two spinners did with two bowlers down, it was a great effort in the field," said Harrison.

"We've still got seven wickets left with a deep batting line-up, 120-odd [to win] and it's still a really good pitch, so hopefully we can knock them.

"David Lloyd has got a bit of a sore side so we're monitoring that, he'll come in later on.

"There've been a few issues with balls with most of the county teams, the spare-ball bag was getting a pasting. It's definitely changed with balls getting softer a bit earlier."
