Glamorgan are 153/5 and trailing by 318 after the third day of their LV= County Championship match against Durham.
The visitors declared on 471/9 after the washout on day two and made early inroads into the Glamorgan top order which saw the Welsh County 89-5.
A battling partnership of 64* between Kiran Carlson (46*) and Chris Cooke (32*) helped the home side to 153/5 when rain brought an early end to play on day three.
"Obviously Durham are on top at the moment," said Harrison. "After missing all day yesterday, we thought they'd come out in the morning and try to get their bonus points as quickly as they could.
"The Durham boys bowled well first thing today. The conditions changed a bit, it got a bit more cloudy and did a bit more with the ball.
"A good partnership between Carlson and Cooke has got us back in the game a little bit."
