Ben Kellaway is set to join Welsh Fire for the Hundred 2025 after being selected in the Vitality Wildcard Draft on Tuesday morning.
Glamorgan’s all-rounder Ben, having impressed in both the Rothesay County Championship and the Vitality Blast this season, was named alongside Gloucestershire’s Ajeet Singh Dale in Welsh Fire’s Wildcard picks. Charley Phillips and Alex Griffiths were also named for the Welsh Fire Women’s Team.
Ben’s selection makes for two Glamorgan players in the Welsh Fire squad, with Mason Crane returning for the 2025 season.
Welsh Fire’s first home fixture against London Spirit is on Saturday 9 August at Sophia Gardens. The Women’s Team start play at 2:30pm, followed by the Men’s Team at 6:00pm.
