Head coach Matt Maynard has named a 14-man squad for Glamorgan's Royal London One-Day Cup match against Somerset at Sophia Gardens tomorrow.
All-rounder Jeremy Lawlor is included in the Royal London One-Day Cup squad for the first time this season and will make his List A debut for the club if selected in the final eleven.
The 23-year-old has put together a string of impressive second team performances during the early part of the season with half-centuries against Somerset and Nottinghamshire and 5/70 against Hampshire yesterday.
All-rounder Andrew Salter and seamer Timm van der Gugten are the extra bowling options from the side which suffered opening defeats against Essex Eagles and Hampshire.
The Welsh county face a Somerset side full of confidence after they started their Specsavers County Championship campagin strongly and defeated last year's Royal London One-Day Cup runners-up Kent Spitfires by 264 runs in Taunton in their opening 50-over match yesterday.
Despite Glamorgan's poor start in the 50-over competition, all-rounder David Lloyd believes the fixture against Somerset is what the county needs to get their campaign back on track.
"It's a strong South Division and it's a good fixture for us and one we need to get us up for the game and hopefully get that win on the board and get our campaign going," said Lloyd.
"Obviously we're looking forward to playing them; we've had a good rivalry against them over the years.
"They're a strong side but if we all play our individual games we can get that first win on the board."
