Both David Lloyd and Aneurin Donald were basking in the glow of maiden first-class centuries, as Glamorgan piled on the runs against Cardiff MCCU.
Lloyd, 23, hit 105 before retiring out and 19-year-old Donald hit the same score, with Glamorgan finishing on 444/7 off 100 overs on Day Two.
Lloyd, whose innings came off 169 balls, said he was 'over the moon' to reach the milestone.
"After putting in the hard work over the winter, it was nice to see it pay off.
"It was one of those days where it fell to me to push on. I was hitting the ball nicely and hopefully I can take that into the game on Sunday (versus Leicestershire) if selected."
Donald, who came agonisingy close to a first-class century when he made 98 against Gloucestershire last year, was similarly delighted.
The England Under 19s batsman said: "It feels really good. It's nice to finally tick it off because it was looming over me for a bit since last year but I'm really happy. I was hitting the ball really well today.
"As a club we're in the ideal situation going into the season. There's competition for places across the board and everyone's in form.
"It was great for David as well, to get two maiden hundreds in a day is pretty special."
