Glamorgan\'s Day Three century makers David Lloyd and Graham Wagg were rightly proud of their record-breaking double-century stand that helped draw their side back into the match.
Lloyd hit 107, while Wagg made 106 in a partnership of 215 for the sixth wicket that gave Glamorgan a glimmer of hope, despite Kent's sizeable first innings deficit. The visitors had been 156/5 when Aneurin Donald fell for 38, but the middle order fought back defiantly.
Glamorgan clawed back the lead and set Kent 187 to win, eventually posting 414 all out in their second innings.
"It's nice to get my first championship ton under my belt, it was an amazing feeling to finally get over the line," said 23-year-old Welshman Lloyd.
"And thanks to Waggy who helped keep me going."
Wagg, 32, who hit his first hundred of the season, added: "We both said that if we could put a partnership together we could possibly turn things around.
"We kept each other going because there were periods when their bowlers were tired."
"They bowled well in periods, but when the field went out as they tired it got that little bit easier. All in all, we'll take that performance today."
Kent openers Daniel Bell-Drummond and Tom Latham saw the home side through to the end. They will resume tomorrow morning at 11am in pursuit of 167 more runs to claim victory in a thrilling match.
