Glamorgan 2nd XI beat Gloucestershire 2nd XI, as well as losing to their West Country opponents in the back-to-back Twenty20 matches held at the SWALEC Stadium today.
After the disappointment of the washouts earlier in the week against Warwickshire 2nd XI, the Welsh county lost the first of today's two Twenty 20 contests by 22 runs after Ben Wright had blasted 80 from just 38 balls with 6 sixes and 5 fours.

His efforts with the bat were then upstaged in the second contest as David Lloyd posted 101 from only 56 balls, and in the process struck 5 sixes and 9 fours to lay the foundations of a match-winning total. Young spinner Kieran Bull then claimed 3/31 from his four overs as Glamorgan completed a 23-run victory.
