Batsman Colin Ingram says momentum in the NatWest T20 Blast can only help them in their LV= County Championship campaign, as Glamorgan prepare for a busy week across both formats.
Ingram and captain Jaques Rudolph saw Toby Radford's side over the line in the rain-affected T20 Blast win over Somerset on Saturday, but Ingram is relishing the chance for the team to continue their blistering form.
They now face second-placed Surrey in the Championship at Guildford, starting on Monday.
He said: We're playing with great confidence as a team. I'm really enjoying switching between formats but we have to make sure we're switched on ahead of the game (versus Surrey).
Tomorrow (Sunday) we will take it easy and travel up to Guildford and then we'll put in a good session on the morning of the game.
Glamorgan made it three wins in succession in the T20 Blast after overcoming rivals Gloucestershire and Somerset in consecutive days.
And Ingram lauded the team's character as Glamorgan emerge from a rainy weekend in South Wales and the South West, with two precious victories.
Ingram added: This weekend was massive for us with two big games. It was a great win (on Friday night) Bristol is a really tough place to go and play but we batted really well. Jacques getting 100 not out set it up and then had to bowl with a wet ball in dark conditions, but Hoges and Waggy stuck at it well at the death.
He confirmed captain Rudolph had made him fully aware of the importance of staying above the Duckworth-Lewis Par score on Saturday afternoon, as the rain began to fall at The SSE SWALEC.
We were extremely aware of the situation, he said. Jacques was giving me some advice in Afrikaans and we just wanted to make sure we were ahead when the rain came. Today (Saturday) just tops off a great weekend.
Glamorgan travel to Chelmsford after the four-day encounter with Surrey and Ingram is determined for the good form to continue as the Welsh county seek revenge for defeat against Essex, who won comfortably at The SSE SWALEC earlier in the season.
He added: Essex turned us over when they came down but hopefully we can go back there and get one over them.
The two victories at the weekend move Glamorgan up to second position in the T20 Blast South Group.
