Monday is a massive game for us as a club - Selman

Glamorgan fell to a four run defeat in their final Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Yorkshire Vikings, but still managed to top Group 1 and bag a home semi-final on Monday.

The Vikings posted 230, with an eighth wicket partnership of 84 between Jonathan Tattersall and Matthew Waite crucial in their total, while Glamorgan came up just short, despite an opening stand of 121 between Hamish Rutherford (58) and Nick Selman, who eventually went on to make 92.

"We're pretty disappointed to lose the game considering where we were but it's great to come top and be back here on Monday for the semi-final," said Selman.

"I think for us we've reviewed and reflected on the game today and now it's about moving on and getting up for Monday which is a massive game for us as a club.

"I've found some good nick which is always nice. The wicket was a little slow today so it was a little tricky to get going, but it was a little frustrating to fall a little short at the end from the position we were in."
