Head Coach Robert Croft has named a 13-man squad for Glamorgan\'s Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Essex at Chelmsford tomorrow.
All-rounder Owen Morgan and batsman Connor Brown have both been included in the one-day squad for the first time this season after impressive displays for the second team. With their addition it means nine players in the squad have come through the Glamorgan Pathway system.
Overseas player Shaun Marsh is unavailable after joining up with the Australian one-day team before their series against England, and with Glamorgan not bringing in a replacement overseas player for the match, Croft says, "It will give an opportunity to one of our guys who've been scoring hundreds in the second team."
The Welsh county are currently making a number of enquiries to cover Marsh who will miss the rest of the Royal London One-Day Cup campaign as well as up to three Specsavers County Championship matches in June.
"We're looking at any options that we could bring in if that's at all possible," added Croft.
"It is certainly something we're monitoring and working hard at."
The Welsh County will be looking to seal their first win of the competition having lost their opening four matches.
Glamorgan were defeated by Kent on Friday and despite opener Nick Selman hitting a List A career-best 92, Croft has identified a lack of centuries for his team failing to put winning totals on the board this season.
"We're getting a lot of players set (batting), and we haven't got a hundred yet, though we've been getting close," said Croft.
"Each time we've been tripping up and that's taking us away an extra 30 or 40 runs we should be getting."
