Eoin Morgan says it would be a "dream come true" to lead England to a second ICC World Twenty20 title in Kolkata on Sunday.
Morgan, the sole member of England's side which won in the Caribbean six years ago in the current squad, will lead the side out in the final against West Indies.
And the 29-year-old left-hander is keen to be involved in the decisive moment of the contest.
It would be amazing, it would be absolutely amazing, said Morgan when asked what lifting the trophy for a second time would mean.
It would be a dream come true; playing in World Cup finals is something you dream of as a kid - hitting the winning runs, taking the winning catch - it would be truly amazing.
England have been praised not only for their run to the final, but the enterprising brand of cricket they have played along the way.
And Morgan believes Jason Roy and Chris Jordan deserve particular credit for encapsulating the win-or-bust approach installed under Head Coach Trevor Bayliss.
Morgan added: Two prime examples would be Jason Roy with the bat early on - he looks to take down absolutely every bowler, he looks to make the most of his ability and his talent which has been key for us throughout this tournament.
And Chris Jordan at the death - it's a very difficult situation to be in all the time, particularly if you're bowling to an 'in' batsman, but the execution of his plans at the end, he's very cool, calm and collective and he seems to be finding his feet.
While a World Twenty20 final is a big occasion, as captain Morgan is keen to keep his players calm ahead of the game.
Once we're not at the ground, it's to stay as relaxed as possible, he continued when asked about his role in the build-up to the game.
Continuing to do what you've done throughout the tournament, however you spend your down time - do that.
Try and spend as little mental energy as possible while you're at the hotel. Sleep well, eat well, train well and hopefully put yourself in the best condition you can be for Sunday.
