Glamorgan's 13-man squad will be unchanged for a third consecutive NatWest T20 Blast clash as the Welsh county hosts Somerset at The SSE SWALEC tomorrow (Saturday 13th June 2.30pm) following victories in successive games in the competition.
In their last outing in Caridff Glamorgan ensured entertainment until the final ball as they secured victory defending 169 against Middlesex who fell just 4 runs short, after some superb death bowling from the Glamorgan attack turned the match on its head.
Tonight captain Jacques Rudolph starred with the bat as he scored only the third century in Glamorgan history in the shortest format, before his bowling attack restricted Gloucestershire to 172/6 to win by 19 runs.
Speaking after the match, Man of the Match Jacques Rudolph said, After we lost the toss I thought it was quite important to see how the wicket played. Getting myself in worked well and we really got the momentum going when Craig Meschede hit two early sixes.
It was quite a clinical performance with the bat. In the field it was very tough conditions. It was dark and the ball was sopping wet.
We have turned the corner and have a lot of momentum now going into the Somerset game tomorrow. It's a nice mental barrier that I have broken by scoring my first T20 hundred today.
