Glamorgan Cricket is pleased to announce that Pro Steel Engineering has become the Club’s latest partner.
The Wales-based steel specialists have agreed to sponsor the Grandstand at Sophia Gardens for the next three years, with the stand to be renamed the Pro Steel Engineering Stand.
Pro Steel Engineering has played an integral part in the latest renovations at the stadium. Over the past year, they have resealed the concrete terraces and refreshed the structural steelwork with an updated paint system.
Head of operations, Dan Cherry, said: “We are delighted to announce this long-term sponsorship with Pro Steel Engineering.
“We have worked closely with them on our stadium improvements and have been very impressed with their professionalism and standard of work during the project, making them an ideal company for Glamorgan to align with.
“It’s also fantastic to see another Welsh-based business come on board and we look forward to them being part of our Club over the coming years.’
Richard Selby, co-founder and Director of Pro Steel Engineering, said: “The team and I were absolutely thrilled to work on the stadium during the renovation stage, and now to be able to sit in our own stand is extremely exciting.
"Cricket is a sport everyone can enjoy, and we’re proud to play a small part in helping the sport, and the club, grow over the coming years.”
