Glamorgan Head Coach Toby Radford praised Graham Wagg's composure under pressure to keep Middlesex at bay in a decisive final over at The SSE SWALEC.
Wagg's variation ultimately left Middlesex just short of a victory target that looked marginally short of par on a slower pitch.
Waggy has got a good Yorker but he also mixes it up very well and he was composed when we needed him to be, said Radford.
He mixed it up very well and the scenario was similar to the kind of challenges he sets himself in training.
It's a great end to a great week and we're delighted to have won in front of the home crowd.
Radford shuffled his pack to elevate in-form all-rounder Craig Meschede to open alongside captain Jacques Rudolph.
Craig has been in great form and he played brilliantly alongside Jacques to give us a platform, said Radford.
There was a slight loss of momentum in the middle overs but Chris Cooke is remarkably consistent in the role that he performs for us and his boundary hitting took us from a below-par score to one that we were able to defend.
Glamorgan will face Gloucestershire at Bristol on Friday before returning to The SSE SWALEC to host Chris Gayle and Somerset on Saturday 13 June
