Glamorgan fell to a disappointing innings and 154 run defeat to Sussex at Hove in the Specsavers County Championship.
Sussex' pace quartet of Archer, Robinson, Wiese and Jordan ripped through Glamorgan twice in two sessions, with Archer the pick of the bowlers, claiming eight wickets in the day.
"First and foremost they bowled very very well, their four seamers were on top of their game and made it very difficult for us but it's hugely disappointing to lose like that in two days," said vice-captain Chris Cooke.
"You're not going to find many attacks better than that even in the first division, so that was a huge test.
"It's nice to go on to T20 on Friday, it might be a welcome break from the (Championship) format. Yes, we do have a few young and inexperienced guys but they're all hugely talented and hopefully they can learn and take that forward into the last block (of four-day games.)
