Glamorgan fell to a 30-run defeat to Gloucestershire in the Vitality Blast at Cheltenham after the home side set the Welsh county an imposing 198 to win.
Despite a fast start, Glamorgan lost wickets at regular intervals after the powerplay and fell short. Captain Colin Ingram believed Gloucestershire's score was above par but his side were on track before losing quick wickets.
"We allowed Gloucestershire to score too many," said Ingram."It was a really good pitch, but we didn't keep things as tight as we should have done.
"We knew we needed to make a really good start and we did that during the power-play. But we then lost too many wickets too early and left ourselves with a lot to do coming down the straight.
"We've played a game less than some of the others, but we need to string back to back wins together to get ourselves back up the table and into contention."
