Glamorgan have four more group games to play in the NatWest T20 Blast and whilst the collective (and most important) goal is qualification for the quarter-finals, several of the Welsh county’s players are on course to set new records in the short-form of the game.

On the batting front, Colin Ingram is the leading six-hitter in the country in the competition with his current tally standing at 19, three more than Kent’s Joe Denly who has struck 16, as well as four more than Sussex’s Ross Taylor , Worcestershire’s Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Essex’s Ashar Zaidi who have all hit 15.

Colin’s run tally also stands at an impressive 316 at a healthy average of 45, which at present, means he is the sixth highest run-scorer in this year’s competition surpassed by the Gloucestershire duo of Michael Klinger (422) and Iain Cockbain (388), as well as Joe Denly (337) and his Kent colleague Sam Northeast (324), and Ross Taylor who has struck 324 runs for the Sussex Sharks.

On the bowling front, Timm van der Gugten lies third in the wicket-taking tally with the Glamorgan seamer having 16 wickets – a total bettered only by Joe Leach of Worcestershire who has so far claimed 19 wickets and Gloucestershire’s Benny Howell who has 17 wickets to his name.

Robert Croft’s Club record of 22 wickets in the 2010 season could be in danger if van der Gugten and Michael Hogan who has claimed 14 wickets, continue in their current form.
